Classic Art Deco Diamond & Sapphire Ring     SOLD
		Classic art deco ring. It is marked inside 585 (14K) and the maker's initials, which look like V.K. and there is a hallmark in an oval chop mark, but it's too worn to make it out. There are 6 old European cut 5-7 point diamonds and two almost crescent shape sapphires set around a 1/4 carat rose cut diamond that sparkles like crazy. The quality of the stones is very nice. The center stone has some pitting on one side, but it is hardly noticeable, and doesn't detract from the fiery beauty of the stone and the ring. The ring is 22mm long (9/10"), and has gorgeous engraving along the sides of the shank. Hugs the finger beautifully. It weighs 5 grams and is a US size 4 1/2, and has an inside diameter of 15 1/4 mm. I think the British size is 48. I think it can be sized.
